There are reports that the gOS Cloud has been sighted on certain netbooks. .

What is gOS Cloud? Well, it’s a browser based operating system not being developed by Google (officially)

The idea being that you start up your netbook and right away appears a Google Chrome-esque browser complete with application dock.

The gOS Cloud, being solely browser and internet based centrally houses your operating system, documents and storage. Apparently it is speedier than a Windows based operating system too.

gOS isn’t a Windows replacement – I don’t think it could, yet. It’s supposed to sit on the computer, along side your usual operating system so you can do… quick stuff.

The gOS Cloud OS isn’t being developed by Google. Though it’s terribly Google-esque.

You can start your Windows Operating system from within gOS Cloud. .
