Google released the Gmail Gadget for the Google Desktop which brought Gmail to your desktop.
The just released the Google Calendar Gadget, which surprisingly, brings the Google Calendar to your desktop.
Of course you need the Google Desktop Application to run these but they’re well worth it if you need to keep your life and email in order as sos many of us do.
