Right now I follow about 1300 people on Twitter and am followed by more than 800 people.

I follow people who have something to say that I’m interested in. I know 1300 is a low of information to follow and I really do need to narrow down that list some, as soon as I find time and a good way to do it.

I need a way to see who I’m following and is following me (I like to reciprocate) I’d like to see when a person last twittered too, to eliminate dead streams.

There are 5 very good reasons that I’d follow you on Twitter.

1. You live in Pittsburgh

I like to hear what’s going on around me and connect with local people.

2. .You live on the Isle of Man

a. There’s a chance I know you b. You deserve a follow because you’re online on the Isle of Man!

3. You’re interesting, fun or stuff

If you’re in my field/s, you’re funny or are just plain interesting in your Tweets there’s a good chance I’ll follow you.

4. I know you personally

If I have met you personally, face to face or at least had dealings with you the chances are that I’ll follow you.

5. You follow me (with exceptions)

If you follow me I’ll likely follow back (again, reciprocation counts) unless you’re into something I’m totally not, auto tweeting, spamming or just don’t look quite right.
