With so many stores, offices and places in general it’s tough to fill the empty lots.
In today’s harsh economic climate there’s not much chance of finding more retail to fill the void retail spaces.
Circuit City’s closure leaves gaping wholes in retail real estate with hundreds of warehouse sized locations all over the country forcing real estate companies to look into more unconventional uses for sites.
The company in charge of the emptying Circuit City locations, DJM Realty is considering “Educational and other non-retail uses”.
