Google keeps tweaking Gmails contacts and I appreciate it Google. You have some work to do – keep it up.

They’ve made 4 major changes recently:

Contact Merge

Some contacts have just phone numbers, others have just email addresses, some different email addresses and they’re all under the one name! well, you can merge your contacts now to keep everything in shape.  Love it!

All Contacts list

In your contacts you will see a All Contacts option. Look through this list to add people to your contacts or simply delete them.

Remove from My Contacts

You have a group called My Contacts. This is your primary contact group. You can now remove people from this list as well as adding them instead of just deleting them.

Full Field Search

You can now search across phone numbers, notes, and postal addresses as well as just the names and email addresses.
