Youtube offering official downloads

There were rumors a little while ago about YouTube offering downloads of their videos, straight from the site, officially. At the time the concept was clearly a violation of their terms of service.

Well, the rumor has come to fruition and YouTube is officially offering downloads of some of their videos – officially.

The downloads come in the form of MP4 video voles and is dependant of the creator allowing users to download the video.

Right now, selection is limited but I can see the service opening up to more and more producers.
