Google came up with some pretty exciting news this week.

They’ve launched a new Gmail interface for the iPhone, iPod Touch and Android.

The new experience is so much better than the old experience. I love it! I might actually start using it over the Apple Mail software.

Just point your mobile browser to Gmail.com and you’ll see the newly redesigned mail interface that, apparently, Google has been working on since October.

To make life easier and a little faster there is message caching going on in the background, on the device, which apparently lets you compose mail while offline.

I haven’t tried to work offline yet but I really like what I see so far.
