32 WordPress Update Services

Whenever you publish your article on your WordPress blog, it’s possible to have it reach out over the internet to notify different services that there is new content available so that they can take a look any hopefully spread the word about your blog posts.

These are called ‘Ping Services’ or ‘Update Services’

Here’s how WordPress puts it:

There is only one service listed in WordPress as default. If you wish to add more:

  • Open your Dashboard

  • Click settings

  • Click writing and scroll down to the bottom of the page
