Netbooks are becoming increasingly popular. Companies are giving them away as promotions, a lot of students will be taking them to school families are buying them as additional computers.

Dell has Mini Netbooks starting at just $299.

Though they’re pretty powerful Mini Netbooks are called ‘mini’ for a reason; the screens are just over 10 inches wide.

Needless to say, real estate is important on Netbooks and Google is realizing this.

The developers over at Gmail have added a new feature to the Gmail Labs in which you can remove the labels from your email subject lines to make them more easily viewable on the smaller Netbook screen.
