Yes, this is pretty much another one of those videos which is a wild, literal, misinterpretation of Twitter and throwing it into a real life setting.

Here’s what thinks Twitter is:

Yes, it’s funny but it’s inaccurate.

I like to think of Twitter as more of a group and conference setting. You/re not going around talking or yelling at strangers, You’re talking to a group of friends (they did, after all, choose to follow you, right?), engaging with them, sharing with them, voicing your opinion to them, answering them, giving them feedback.

If you’re one of those people (I know, we all do it) who just talks at people on Twitter then you’re doing it wrong.

The video actually serves as a good reminder. If you wouldn’t holler it in a crowd, why tweet it? Think before you Tweet?
