KFC ‘Double Down’ Sandwich – Viral Marketing?

KFC hasn’t had such a good time with online marketing after a free meal deal with Oprah Winfrey sent restaurants spiraling into chaos.

However, a new ‘test market’ sandwich has evidently been leaked onto the Internet and it’s causing quite a media storm.

The KFC Double Down Sandwich is much like any other KFC Sandwich, except instead of bread at the top and bottom of it there’s Chicken (as you’d expect from KFC).

In a time when everyone seems to be counting calories and carbs I have to admire any company who would consider hitting the market with this.

I know I’d buy it! Someone has to consider the ‘little guy’, right? Kudos to the Colonel!
