One of the things holding back the wonderous portable media device that is your iPod Touch or iPhone is it’s speaker. The iPod Touch doesn’t have one at all and the iPhone, while the speaker is good, doesn’t quite do the device justice.

It’s a shame to have a powerful portable media device like the iPod Touch or iPhone and tether it to whatever you’re playing your music or videos through with cables.
I want to carry my iPhone around my apartment and pick and choose my music when I’m listening to it on a (much) louder speaker system.

Yamaha to the rescue!
Yamaha has a Yamaha PDX-60 system that sets you and your iPhone (or iPod) free!

It’s sweet – there’s no doubt about that. The whole idea is that you can dock your device right on the impressive PDX-60 speaker system. Yeah, sure, you can do that, but why would you want to when there is an included…. dongle… that snugly and rather unobtrusively,  fits the bottom of your iPhone and lets you, without any anchoring wires, play music and videos, without delays, drom your iPhone to the PDX-60! It’s great!

What kind of Magic is this? well, it’s not really Magic, even though it might seem like it. It’s not WiFi, it’s not BlueTooth or InfraRed. THe Yamaha PDX-60 uses original Yamaha technology called ‘yAired’ to send data uncompressed, without loss, without delay.

At $299.95 direct from Yamaha, it’s not too cheap but it;s well worth it if you appreciate your music.  They even make the system in different colors – Black, blue, green or pink – just to suit you and maybe even your home decor.
