I’m a regular at the Affogato Coffee Bar in Bellevue, I drive clear across town just to go there.
Affogato is a nice little, independently owned and operated, coffee shop. Wonderful coffee and wonderful service.
The coffee shop is also where Justin Kownacki shoots his new suitably named web series, The Baristas.
Affogato was in dire need of a site update – a new online presence.
Victoria asked if I could help.
Something tasteful, simple, easy to navigate, easy to update and inexpensive was called for. Something not too blog-ish, more of a site with a blog there too.
Naturally the content management system of choice is WordPress giving Victoria the ability to log into the site dashboard and edit what she needs to, when she needs to.
A premium theme customization of the Café Press theme served it’s purpose.
The dark background is reminiscent of coffee and the chalk-board writing in the title suits the board that you’ll find outside the shop touting the varied daily specials.
With a few custom photographs, social media widgets, buttons and the usual Tubu Internet Solutions WordPress Plugin-set the site was pretty much up and ready to go in no time.
A simple Google Calendar embed tells you what is going on and which special events you need to attend.
Naturally Tubu hosting and a great template make for a speedy, user friendly, functional site.
The site has been up for a little while now – take a look, let me know what you think.
Also – be sure to visit Affogato when you’re in the area!
