Seegrid, a leading robotics developer based here, appointed David Heilman as chief administrative officer and Matthew Kramer as chief revenue officer. The appointments are part of a planned strategic initiative to drive rapid growth.

“David and Matt bring solid leadership skills and proven track records in driving market expansion and managing the financial growth of technology innovators such as Seegrid. This is a dynamic time for us. We are well-positioned to take advantage of a reviving economic climate. Additionally, the industries we sell to need the cost-efficiencies our solutions deliver in order to compete effectively,” said Scott Friedman, CEO. “Having a core team who can deliver consistent results is key to our success.”

As Seegrid’s new chief administrative officer, David Heilman will oversee finance and operations. In his previous position as chief financial officer of Precision Therapeutics, Inc., Heilman received a Pittsburgh Business Times 2010 CFO of the Year award. That same year, Precision was ranked number three on the list of 100 fastest growing companies in Pittsburgh.

Heilman also served as managing director of The Meridian Group, a private mid-market investment banking and management consulting firm with clients that overlap Seegrid’s core industries, including: retail, light manufacturing, chemicals, and distribution. Previous positions include EVP, CFO, and VP of strategic planning and corporate development for GNC Corporation, and president of First Westinghouse Capital Corporation (Westinghouse Financial Services).

Matt Kramer, Seegrid’s newly-appointed chief revenue officer, will be responsible for driving sales process and marketing efforts designed to increase revenues and expand market presence. Kramer brings 20+ years of record-breaking, enterprise-level sales leadership to Seegrid from leading supply chain management solutions and technology companies. As regional sales manager for Vocollect, Inc., a Pittsburgh workflow solutions provider, Kramer grew and managed his region into a top revenue producer through consultative sales approaches and vertical market initiatives. At Peak Technologies, a supply chain automation and inventory management solutions integrator, Kramer rose through progressive levels of responsibility to become VP of enterprise solutions sales with revenue-producing responsibility across North and Central America. His successful sales career includes stints as VP of sales for Concentrix Corporation, director of business development for Impco Enterprise, national account director for the Sutherland Group, and central area sales manager for Moore Corporation Ltd.
