Dynamic Manufacturing, an electronic manufacturing services (EMS) provider, is breaking ground for an expansion project that will double the existing manufacturing space from 10,000 sq. ft. to a total of 20,000 sq. ft. It was just 3 short years ago, on September 26, 2008, that Dynamic moved into the newly built facility, located in the Northpointe Industrial Park, in South Buffalo Township, just off of the Slate Lick exit of state route 28.
The construction is slated to begin immediately and wrap up before this winter. The expansion project will bring the state-of-the-art facility to a total of 24,000 sq. ft., with the administrative offices added to the total.
“We have outgrown the current manufacturing space due to our volume of business and the size and complexity of the mechanical assemblies we are manufacturing at Dynamic,” says Ezra Mihalcin, General Manager. “It is really an exceptional time for us, despite all of the gloom and doom of the economy and political turmoil in the news today. We are pleased to have some encouraging news for the greater Pittsburgh region.”
Perhaps the most encouraging news from Dynamic is that it has doubled its staff since 2008.
“As our business grows, we expect to add a variety of positions, including design engineers, electronic technicians and assemblers,“ Mihalcin adds. Dynamic management was also aware of a variety of tax incentives in Armstrong County that helped solidify the decision to expand operations. These programs include the LERTA (Local Economic Revitalization Tax Assistance Act) and Job Creation Tax Credits. These tax incentives are administered through the Armstrong County Industrial Development Council.
Founded in 1993, Dynamic Manufacturing provides electronic manufacturing services (printed circuit board assembly), electronics engineering design & layout services, aftermarket services, electromechanical assembly (box build) and cable assembly. Dynamic is part of the Matric Group, which is headquartered in Seneca, PA. Matric is also an EMS provider and offers the same array of contract manufacturing services to a variety of industries in the United States.
