A smartphone designed by you that responds to your voice

Personalizing your smartphone once meant choosing a background, setting a ringtone, and organizing apps in a certain order.  What about the phone itself?

The next generation Moto X is designed with a sense of style. From the curved metal that frames the vivid 5.2-inch 1080p display to the use of genuine woods and leathers. Plus it’s the only smartphone you can design that reflects your style using Moto Maker, with thousands of combinations to choose from.

Customizing the new Moto X also includes how you interact with it. Just as some people name their car for fun, you can give your phone a name too – but here’s the difference: the phone actually responds to your voice commands without your having to touch it.

The new Moto X lets you create your own custom voice prompt to wake it up. You can set it so it’ll respond to phrases like “What’s up Moto X” – or if you prefer to call your phone “Jeeves” or “Alfred”, you can do that too. You can ask questions, read your messages, search Google, post to social media, and more.

Interact with your Moto X naturally with Moto Actions. The display wakes up to show the time and notifications when you reach for the phone. You can also wave your hand over the screen to dismiss a phone call or silence an alarm.

The XLTE-ready 16 GB version of Moto X in Black will be available online and in stores starting September 26 for $99.99 with a new two-year activation. And for a limited time, Moto X in White with Bamboo back will also be $99.99 with new two-year activation. Fully customizable 32 GB and 16 GB models will be available through Moto Maker for $149.99 and $99.99 with new two-year activation.

Verizon Edge is also available for eligible customers. And for a limited time, customers who activate or upgrade to a new smartphone on The MORE Everything Plans with at least 1 GB of data will get an extra 1 GB of bonus data per month for up to 24 months, as long as that smartphone remains active on The MORE Everything Plan.
