LONG BEACH, Calif. – March 30, 2016 – Epson America, Inc., a leading provider of business imaging solutions, today announced the WorkForce® Pro WF-M5694 multifunction and WorkForce Pro WF-M5194 single function monochrome printers, designed to maximize business productivity for small networked workgroups. Powered by Epson’s next-generation PrecisionCore® technology, the WF-M5694 and WF-M5194 provide the lowest-cost monochrome printing in their class1. Equipped with a 10,000-page cartridge yield2 and up to 580 sheets maximum paper capacity3 these monochrome printers require little user intervention. They also come equipped with IT admin tools, including security features and network configuration.

The WorkForce Pro M5000 Series allows users to save money  and quickly produce professional-quality documents that can be printed at fast speeds of 20 ISO ppm (black). The monochrome printers support easy network setup and security features to provide seamless integration and administration into wired and wireless environments, via Universal drivers, PCL4 and PostScript®. They also include standard security-related features such as PIN-based confidential job release and user access control. Additionally, the WF-M5694 supports auto two-sided printing, copying, scanning, and faxing.

Pricing and Availability

The WorkForce Pro WF-M5194 single function monochrome printer ($209.99 MSRP) will be available in late March, and the WorkForce Pro WF-M5694 multifunction monochrome printer ($399.99 MSRP) will be available in late April on epson.com and through IT and specialty dealers, VARs, contract office suppliers and other authorized Epson commercial resellers.
