image ok, now this is really, really neat.

FotoFlexer.com is a very cool site that allows users to manipulate pictures online, quickly and easily for free!

The online image editing application is Apple-esque in appearance, really user friendly and packed full of features.

It’s all enough to get Adobe rethinking some strategies for targeting home users.

Read on for sample pictures.

According to FotoFlexer:

FotoFlexer is the world’s most advanced online digital photo editor. It performs advanced effects previously only available to professionals using expensive software. FotoFlexer was founded by Arbor Labs, a team of graduate students and alumni from the Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology, University of California at Berkeley (and just one MIT/Stanford alum too).

You can upload images from your computer, from your live web cam, photobucket, Facebook, flickr, MySpace, Picasa and more.

Nice! all the popular services connected right away.

image There really are too many effects and bells and whistles to go into.

FotoFlexer has some really neat effects that go above and beyond the usual things that people do in their processing applications, all at a click of the task bar.
It even goes into layers, opacities and stuff.

One of the sweeter options is the smart cut out feature were you can crop images from their background.

To top it all off – you can save your manipulated image to your choice from the list of places you got it from (did that make sense?) i.e you upload a picture from your computer – play around with it – save it to your Facebook profile.
