I’ve posted about life lock on here before but I figure that identity theft is always good to write about.
According to ConsumerAffairs.com, Identity theft tops the Federal Trade Commission’s list of complaints with 674,354 complaints during 2006 (and I’m sure things haven’t gotten a lot better since then). That was about 36 percent of all the complaints they received that year.

Naturally online identity theft is a major concern and likely makes up the bulk of the identity theft reports.
Companies like life lock offer certain protection services for a minimal monthly cost to protect your good (or however it stands) name.
Have you ever had your identity taken, stolen or otherwise misused? How did you recover from whatever happened?
