Lifehacker reminded me that the Computer Mouse turned 40 yesterday.

MacWorld has an excellent post on the History of the mouse, from way back in 1963 when Bill English came up with the first mouse-like prototype through to the current day.

I’ve used more than a few mice, balls, track pads, touch screens, pens, dimples and more. I have to say my favorite mouse is still the good old Microsoft Mouse (original, white one).

I think I still have a block-like Apple Mouse with my Classic Downstairs.
