(wow, today has been quite the Google Day!)
Newly added to the Google Gmail labs is something that will make you much lazier (hopefully) with your Gmail searches.

Since it’s inception one of the basic ideas behind Gmail is for it to be easily searchable and for the most part Google has followed through on this promise.

If you look into your Labs there is a new feature called Search Autocomplete with this feature active your search box will show auto complete suggestions for whatever you put into it.

What’s nice is that it’s not ‘strictly inline’ either. If you were to start typing a couple of letters, those letters could be anywhere in the search results. Not just at the beginning of the first word.

If that makes any sense.

Give it a try or read the Gmail blog to find out more.
