ShowClix, a Pittsburgh-based event ticketing company, today announced that it has secured an undisclosed sum of Series A funding from Pittsburgh Equity Partners (PEP), a venture capital fund, focused on high-growth, early stage information technology and life sciences companies in Southwestern Pennsylvania.

Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) August 26, 2009 — ShowClix (www.showclix.com), a Pittsburgh-based event ticketing company, today announced that it has secured an undisclosed sum of Series A funding from Pittsburgh Equity Partners (PEP). The funds will be used to make several key hires, strengthen the company’s sales and marketing efforts, and expand customer support to meet the fast-growing demand for its ticketing services.
