A great thing about Google Voice is that you can set up custom greetings.
Not a lot of people realize that you can customize, personalize your greetings per caller group or individual caller.
It’s really quite simple. In your Google Voice Settings, click on the Voicemail and SMS settings. add and record your custom greeting.
Then click on your groups settings and set the greeting for which ever group or groups you wish to hear it.
Google Voice Custom Greetings are great for personal and/or business use. If you use your groups correctly you can have your family hear one greeting and your business associates hear another.
You can even use a web widget and give that a custom greeting too!
