LOS ANGELES, Sept. 17, 2009 — Rushing to the delivery room
without a baby name? There’s an app for that!

A new iPhone application from BabyNames.com allows you to
search and save baby names on the go. Whether you want to
save that great name you heard at the playground or need to
take your list of front-runners to the hospital, the
application gives you access to BabyNames.com’s database of
over 15,000 names anytime, anywhere.

“The iPhone app now lets parents access our names database
from anywhere,” says Jennifer Moss, founder and CEO of
BabyNames.com. “It is an exciting extension to the name
services we offer on the website.”
In addition to a database of over 15,000 names and meanings,
the application lets you try out first and middle names with
your last name and save a list of your favorites — no more
dog-eared baby name books or scribbled lists necessary. The
application also includes a random name generator and
displays the website’s “name of the day” right on your
phone.

The BabyNames.com application is available now on iTunes.com
for an introductory price of $4.99.
