Samsung SCH-LC11

Ever wished you had internet for your laptop while you are on vacation driving down the road? Craving for blazing fast internet while on the run?  Does your family need internet access for up to 5 devices at once? Then maybe you need to check out the Samsung SCH-LC11 for the Verizon Wireless 4G network. It may be just what you are looking for.

The SCH-LC11 is a very simple and easy to use device. Basically make sure it’s charged up turn it on and connect your device to its Wi-Fi network, and enjoy the high speed internet on the Verizon Wireless Network.

Let’s take a look and the device. The SCH-LC11 is about the size of a credit card, and roughly as thick as 6 or 7 credit cards. The top of the device has a power button and notification lights to let you know if you are using the 4G or 3G network, and a light to advise you that there is a device connected to the hot-spot. The only other distinguishing feature on the outside of the device is the microUSB plug for charging the hot-spot.

Popping of the back cover of the device reveals the 1500mAh battery and the SSID number and your device password on a sticker. Under the battery is the SIM card slot of access to the Verizon 4G network.

During testing I had averaged speeds of 4,639.21 mbps download and 1,042.42 mbps upload. This was a 40 test sample across both the 3G and 4G Verizon Wireless network in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. Be advised that your results may vary depending on your network connection, availability of 4G network, and amount of people connected to your Mobile hot-spot.

The Samsung SCH-LC11 is available right now from Verizon Wireless for $99.99 with a 2 year agreement (New In Box), or $19.99 for a Certified Pre-Owned device with a 2 year agreement. (Prices as found online on Sept. 3rd 2011)
