Based on the responses from 27,000 wireless subscribers, Verizon Wireless has been named Highest In Network Quality for the Mid-Atlantic Region. This survey by J.D. Power And Associates showed that according to subscribers Verizon Wireless ranked above the industry average in all six regions and highest among national carriers in 5 regions.

Once again this goes to show you that even though you may pay a little more for service, you get what you pay for.

Wireless Network Performance Study Ranks Call, Messaging and Data Quality Based on Customer Surveys

PITTSBURGH–When it comes to network quality in the Mid-Atlantic Region, Verizon Wireless ranks highest among U.S. wireless providers, according to the latest J.D. Power and Associates 2012 Wireless Network Quality Performance Study?, Volume 2. The Mid-Atlantic Region includes Pennsylvania, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, Virginia and West Virginia. The J.D. Power and Associates study measured network quality among all U.S. wireless service providers based on factors that impact overall carrier performance. Approximately 27,000 wireless subscribers were surveyed by J.D. Power and Associates between January and June 2012 about their experiences with wireless voice, text messaging and data usage. Based on their responses, Verizon Wireless performed significantly above the industry average in all six regions and ranked highest among national wireless companies in five regions, including the Mid-Atlantic Region.
