MIAMI, FLORIDA (October 16, 2012) – SLIMLINE, a sophisticated, smart and sleek new concept in smartphonecasing, has announced their official launch on to generate upstart funding and join the many creations that have come to fruition through the “crowdfunding” trend.

SLIMLINE creators, Stanley Prato and Gaetan Policard, proclaim SLIMLINE “a tribute to Steve Jobs,”who grandfathered the era of ingenious and trendy smart devices such as Apple’s iPhone that has becomethe mainstream addition to our every day lives.

Stanley Prato is a music and technology aficionado in Miami’s Design District, where he owns Stan the Phone Man LLC, a chain of cellular phone stores, as well as a marketing & advertising company, EM-Lab LLC.  He is also CEO of his music and video production company, Prato Productions LLC, and the founder of the MKSHFT Council, a collaborative assembly of DJs, musicians and music producers.

“As a business owner, artist, and DJ, I was very frustrated in not having full functionality of my multi-purpose smart phone,” said Prato. “Other phone cases out on the market do not highlight (and often hide) the intricate and thoughtful architecture of the iPhone, in addition to restricting headphone jacks and chargers, to fully connect to the phone.”

“First there were cases, then there were bumpers, and now there is SLIMLINE,” said Policard.

SLIMLINE consists of two pieces that perfectly frame and fit on the front and back of the iPhone, providing access to all sides, buttons and portals of the phone.  Lightweight, SLIMLINE will be available in black; white; limited edition red and blue; and multi-color pack.  SLIMLINE is designed to provide “maximum protection with minimal dimension” to the phone and once on the market, will provide a 100% satisfaction guarantee.

SLIMLINE hopes to raise $25,000 in 30 days.  Backer incentives include one of the first 500 products for a pledge of $13; SLIMLINE case in black or white for iPhone 4/4s; customized SLIMLINE in color of choice for $29 or more; on-line courses by professional DJs, videographers & photographers for $200 or more; full production of a music video (shot in Miami) for $1,500 or more and a “Music Artists’ Dream” – 4 (licensed to backer) music tracks and 20 hours of recording time in a private studio for $5,000 or more.  Those who pledge $29 or more will also be invited to an exclusive launch party at LMNT, located in Miami’s Design District, showcasing renowned DJs from around the world.

“It is my hope to have SLIMLINE available and in stores by the holiday season,” said Prato.
