Motorola RAZR M

Do you really want to have a Motorola RAZR but can’t justify spending $299 or the MAXX HD or $199 of the HD? The Motorola RAZR M for Verizon Wireless gives you the Motorola RAZR series phone you are looking for and for a limited time, will only set you back $49. Check out the review below to see if the RAZR M is the phone you are looking for.

The Motorola Droid RAZR M is available in both Black and White. This phone runs Android version 4.1.1. The screen of the RAZR M is 4.3 inches and goes from edge to edge for a larger screen size in relation to phone size. The Super AMOLED Advanced screen has a  resolution of  540 x 960 with a pixel density of 256 ppi.  While on the smaller side for Smart Phones now a day’s, this screen is super clear and works well for video’s and video chatting. The Super AMOLED Advanced screen will make you love watching movies and TV on the screen.

The camera on the M is 8 MP and delivers excellent pictures. The camera features all the great add on’s that most smart phone’s have now, LED flash, GPS tagging (aka Geo Tagging), HDR, multiple picture effects, zoom, and more. The front facing camera is on the lower resolution side at only 0.3 MP. While it still works good for video chatting, it doesn’t have the quality the it’s bigger brothers the HD and  MAXX HD have. If you like shooting video with your phone you will be happy to know that the M has the ability to shoot HD video at a resolution of  1920 x 1080 (1080 p). Now you can keep all those moments saved in HD quality.

The battery in the M is it’s achilies heal for me during these reviews. The RAZR M has a 2000 mAh Lithium Ion battery.  Rated battery life is 20 hours but I can average around 8 -9 hours per charge. Also I noticed that the battery loses charge quickly from 14 percent to 0, as seen by the screen shot of my battery usage.

Motorola RAZR M Battery Life

The Motorola RAZR M is powered by a 1.5 GHz Snapdragon Processor. There is also a Adreno 225 graphics processor. There is 1GB of Dual Channel DDR2 500 MHz RAM.  The internal storage for the RAZR M is only 4.5 GB that is usable. There is a microSD slot though that is capable of a card up to 32GB. This should alleviate any storage issues u may run into. There is no card included with the phone.

The Motorola RAZR M is a nice addition to the RAZR  family for people looking to get into a Android phone or for those of you who want Android without the cost of a high end device. The RAZR M gives you all the features of the HD such as Android 4.1.1, Circle widgets, Motorola Apps and add on’s. The Motorola UI is also identical to the other RAZR devices so you don’t miss out there either. For what i would consider a “entry level” phone, you can’t beat the power, speed, and screen of the Motorola RAZR M.  You even get NFC with the RAZR M. Check out Verizon Wireless now as the M is on sale now for $49.99 with a new 2 year agreement. They also have a Motorola RAZR M bundle that comes with Phone, Screen Protector, Case, and Car Charger for only $144.99 with a 2 year agreement.
